As part of the planned replacement, ZKMK JSC manufactured and installed convective units at the UGTPP.

Convective units (heat exchangers) are used in heat recovery boilers of gas-fired power plants, where the coolant is heated by the exhaust gases of turbines. They are used for subsequent heating of rooms, greenhouses and other things.

They consist of pipe gratings, bends of various configurations and finned pipes f 42mm. Finned pipes are used to increase the surface area of heat exchange and, accordingly, the coefficient of heat transfer (heating) of the coolant.

Pipe joints are welded by argon-arc welding, the frame is semi-automatic in a protective gas environment.
